embodiment, identity & the Bible

Our Holiday Forum 2022 theme

our theme

This is the second of our three themes that focus on becoming a welcoming, diverse and genuinely anti-racist community.  Is it possible for anti-racism to be a fundamental part of our identity?  How can we embody anti-racism as a group?  What do we discover when we turn to the Bible for help and guidance?  Revd Dr Tessa Henry-Robinson’s Doctorate looked at how Black women embody “Womanness”.  She will help us unpack and understand the values we currently embody and what shapes our identity. She will lead us on the journey of becoming what we aspire to be as disciples of Jesus as we “see him more clearly, love him more dearly and follow him more nearly”.
